Trampler Builds
A Trampler is transport, storage, protection and a weapon platform in one. Build it in the Trampler Editor, save it as a blueprint, and rebuild it after losses. "No blueprint survives unchanged" — keep experimenting.
How the Trampler Editor Works
You build by placing compartments: bridge, engines, reactors, storage, spawn points, weapon mounts and armor. Every part has a weight and a power draw; your reactor must supply enough power for everything you attach. Valuable compartments go in the center; exterior rooms act as dummy buffers against boarding and explosions.
Three Build Archetypes
Stealth Scout
Small footprint, hard to spot, fast in and out. Solo-friendly for quick looting runs. Low armor, high mobility.
Heavy Fortress
Stacked armor, multiple 360° turrets. Soaks cannon fire and defends a position. Needs a coordinated 4–6 person crew to run.
Cargo Hauler
Expanded storage with an internal maze to deter boarding. Built for long farming sessions in Voyage.
Module Priority
| Priority | Module | Role |
|---|---|---|
| High | Engines | Movement, hill-climbing, escape speed. |
| Required | Reactor | Powers the whole build; its loss ends the run. |
| Required | Storage | Prevents loot loss; wraps the reactor as armor. |
| High | Spawn Points | Crew respawn location. |
| Medium | Armor | Absorbs damage; useless if core systems are missing. |
Example "Siege" heavy loadout seen in the 2026 meta: triple-engine + military reactor + dual heavy cannons + twin shotgun decks + multiple vaults. Interior design philosophy: multiple staircases, locked checkpoints, backup routes, elevated command, and a separate engineering section.
Anti-Boarding Defense
- Central, layered reactor protection with buffer rooms that delay and reduce explosion effects.
- Solo: a compact single combat corridor forces boarders into one kill-zone.
- Storage deep inside; multiple doors create delay. Multi-level layouts help if the movement lines stay controllable.
- Common error: Captain's Cabin or reactor too close to the entrance = a straight path for boarders.
- Part durability degrades with use — inspect and swap plates after every raid.
